Hi all. =) I've decided to make an all in one guide. xD This guide is a bit... long. To prevent from wasting precious game time, hold Crtl and press F. Enter in the section title you want to go to, and it'll take you there.

Introduction

Welcome to CelestialMS. Hopefully, you know enough about private servers to know how to begin. If you don't, feel free to read this part, or just skip it if you wan't. Makes no difference. Well, now. For those that are new to servers in general... Don't you get a bit bored spending WEEKS leveling up? I mean, wheres the fun in that? Stab, Stab, Slash,... Woot. I got 5 mesos. Yay me. Of course, that doesn't mean your just spoonfed by getting to lv 200 by killing one green snail. No way. That's just boring. It has its challenges, but I bet you, you'll level a lot faster than in Global Maple Story.

Setting Up ^.^

Well, private servers are basically Global Maplestory, just... different. xD
Private servers are "edited" so you can have more fun without losing hours of your life. This server has 900x exp, 200x mesos, 10x drop. Of course, you can always find that out at the top. Generally, the format is exp/meso/drop rate. Well, that all sounds nice and interesting and all.... But what the heck do I do? Well, wait up! I'm about to tell you. First, go to the main site with the rankings, server status, etc. Click! xP On the left side, under two bars where you login, theres a rectangular button titled Register. It's self explanatory from there. Alright, I'll give it a try. ...Done! Good. Now, after you has an account, click Downloads, which is right under the banner on top of the page. Directly right of Downloads is Register, and you can use that to make an account too. =) Anyways. At the download page, you'll have to download Maplestory v62. You also require a "Localhost" which is used so that you play on Celestial MS, not Global Maplestory. Now. Go grab something to eat since you'll be waiting a bit waiting for v62 setup to download. I think I'll go for a walk while I wait. ...Download Finished, Yay!

Now, the hard part is over. Run the setup, install Maple Story. Now, find something called "My Computer" You'll see a bunch of folders. See if you can find a folder named Nexon. Hm... Oh. There it is. Now what? Well, click and drag the "Local host" a.k.a. Celestial MS into a folder titled ""Maple Story" which should be in the folder named Nexon. For easier playing, you may want to
1. Right-click the Local host, Left-click "Create Shortcut"
2. Click and drag the created shortcut to your desktop(What you see when you first turn on your computer)
3. Enjoy!

Now, If you REALLY don't understand this for whatever reason, I will be glad to help you. If requested, I will make a video, although I highly doubt anyone will require one. But feel free to ask.

Player Commands. :3
-------------------

This section is pretty important if your the type of person that likes everything to run smoothly.
Player Commands are... well, Commands. They help you with certain things.
You take the command, enter it in your chat bar, and some action(its description) will run.

List:(If you ever forget any of the commands and don't feel like coming back to this guide, you can always review them in-game by simply typing in @commands and pressing enter.

Oh, I don't really care what you say, but I put the descriptions in my own words. Excluding a few, which I have pointed out.

@commands,@help
Shows a list of all the available Player Commands available for use.
@str, @luk, @int, @luk
Ever open up your stat window, see a hundred available stats leftover and groan? Well, no need to click 'till your hand falls off. Simply use @[stat] [# of available stat points that you wish to put into [stat] to subtract [#] from your available points and add [#] into [stat]
@save
Basically "saves" your character. You see, sometimes when you get disconnected from the game, or the server restarts while your in-game, you may lose some precious exp, mesos, and/or items. This is called a rollback. In order to prevent this, make this command one of your best friends.
@rank
Basically, typing this command gives you the information of the top 10 people in this server.[We all know its basically GMs, but we're talking about non-GMs here.] =)
@dispose
Note: In-game, The description says that it toggles smegas, but thats what the next command does. As such, this description will describe what it does in other servers.

Can't talk to a NPC? Can't attack? Can't pick up things? Well, then this command is for you. Type this, then try doing whatever it is you were having a problem with again.
@togglesmega
This command does exactly what it implies. Ever try to train peacefully and suddenly find that some people are engaging in a smega war? Well, no fear! Using @dispose will get rid of those pestering smegas once and for all.[Using it again will turn smega viewing back on.]
@expfix
While training, have you ever noticed something strange? Yup. You have negative exp! Omfgz. What do I do now? This command is here to help you. Using this command will set your exp count to 0.
@gm <message>
Have a problem? This command sends <message> to all online GMs. Careful though, don't abuse this. Always make sure to smega your question first.
@checkstat
Aww. I lost track of my rebirths! What do I do? Use @checkstat to see your character's info.
@pervy
Yesh. This command. Use it at your own risk. Its SUPPOSED to bring up the all-in-one NPC from any map, however, you will most probably disconnect when using it.
@gmlist
Brings up a list of all the GameMasters in Celestial MS, for your stalkin-Bug/Support Reasons. =)
@event
Wow! A GM is hosting an event. How do I join? Type @event.
@fm
I want to go to Free Market to access all the Coolx NPCs, but I don't want to walk all the way there. What should I do? Use @fm.

Ever playing and find that-**** My food ish burning! D:z[Not really. o.o] Use this @goafk command to.. well, go afk ingame.
@online
An aid to satisfy your stalke-curiousity about who's online in the server at the moment.
@requestvip
Apparently, it sends a request to a GM asking to be a VIP. I'm not sure what VIP's get or what they function as/position in the game, but... yea. Someone please clarify in a post? Thanks.
@rebirth
Well, I've played for a while, and now im Lv 200+. What now? Use this command to rebirth. Rebirthing is when you reach Lv 200+, your level gets reset to 1. You keep your stats, items, weapons, and the skills that you set on your keyboard. Remember to have the skills you want BEFORE rebirthing. No refunds.

Getting to know the game. =)

Before you actually play Celestial MS, here are some tips and facts than can help.

NPC (Non Playable Character)
Description: These are figures in the game, commonly known as NPC. Double or Single Clicking them will usually result in an action of some sort, such as
1. "Talking to you"
2. Offering a Quest
3. Giving some Information
4. Opening a Shop in which you may purchase weapons and pots(Potions)*
5. Other.

List Of NPCs useful in-game:

Naruto
You Meet This NPC when you first login. Read more in Guide #2.

Neji
After you finish talking to Naruto, the subway starts moving. Talk to Neji who should appear right next to you.

Pervy Sage
All-one NPC! Yay. Make this your #1 NPC. It'll help you out. Note: While @pervy can be used to access this NPC, I'm pretty sure it just disconnects your client.[Another word for localhost]

Fredrick
Your handy dandy NPC that steals mesos and items from your shops when you close them, but gives them back if you ask nicely. More on this later.

TehPedoBear
Jump Quest NPC. I have no clue about this NPC. Supposedly, you get warped to a jump quest and receive a reward for completing it. So far... my results.
1. Clicked First Jump Quest, Nothing Happened. Same for other Jump Quests also.
2. Tried again later, I actually got warped to a jump quest, but disconnected as soon as I saw the map. I believe its the MapleStory Training Thing. I forget the exact name, Sorry.

Hinata
You are brought to the Hall of Hokages. You shall face dangerous Minoutars and Sand Ninjas which will attack you. Suggested Level:70+

Kin
I'm sure you don't want to go around with the noobish hair, right? =) Well this NPC will help with your troubles. Use @fm to enter the Free Market, where you'll find this NPC.[Boys Only]

NimaKin
Same as above. [Girls Only]

Iruka Sensei
Skill maxer. If you disconnect, talk to him on a different channel.

No String
Donator NPC
This NPC upgrades your items. It shows you all the equips in your inventory. Select one, and Choose an option to upgrade with donor points.
1$=10 Donor points.
With a donor point, you can upgrade Str, Dex, Int, Luk, HP, MP, WAtk, MAtk, WDef, MDef
I suggest not doing HP or MP. Who wants to spend one dollar just to get an item with +10 HP or MP?

Rock Lee
Talk to him, and he may just take you anywhere around the Maple World with his epicly fast skillz. (His Epic Haste=+99999999999999999999999999999^999999999999999999999Speed) =)

Kakashi
Sitting(Standing) In a corner of FM reading his porn books. =)

Masked Gentleman
Rebirth NPC. Use when you reach lv 200. More on rebirths later.

Third Hokage
All-in-one Seller. Sells just about any item you can think of. xP Also sells cash for mesos.
Meso-Cash rate: 20 Mesos for 1 NX Cash Point. Not very expensive, very affordable. Especially considering you can buy Cash Items for 200 mesos each, anyways.

Sasuke
Prize Exchanger.
Bring all your friends! I'm not exactly sure how you do this, but... yeah. Here's my theory.
Bring friends, Find a GM and show them you recruited, receive Shumi's coin which can be used for aweshum prizes.

Ichigo
Gives you one of every single chair in the game.

Duey
Your typical Duey Item Deliverer. Sends items to other players. But if your going to do this, why not trade them and send the item/s?

Wth? I have absolutely NO idea what this does for you except "joining" a clan.

You come to a map with high hp birthday cakes. GM hats drop? I haven't confirmed this yet.

Amos the Strong
Uncoded.

Warrior Job Instructor
I suppose... it job advances you? I dunno. I just use the all-in-one NPC.

Wisp
Found in FM2, this NPC trades Cloud pieces for epic prizes.
350=100 million mesos. A sorta ripoff, when you could be getting much better things.
500=Hard Hat Not sure of stats, but I will harvest enough clouds to obtain one shortly.
5000=GameMaster Hat(+999 each stat, 200 Weapon Defense/Magic Defense/Accuracy/Avoid, +30 Jump, +50 Speed.) Overall, the perfect hat to go Jump Questing with.
8000=2 100% GameMaster Scrolls for Glove for Attack
1000=8000 NX Cash Points(Wth? Just buy it from the NPC. MUCH Cheaper, and time-efficient)

YAY! WE ISH DONE W/ NPCS. :3
